Highboys are one of the most elegant of American furniture forms. There were a great number of regional variations, from extravagant Philadelphia pieces to unique New Hampshire variations. We have been commissioned to build one highboy, with Mahogany crotch veneers, a Newport shell carving on the apron and a hidden drawer in the crown. If you have a highboy in mind or would like to work with us we would enjoy the challenge.

New England Queen Anne Highboy. Walnut with Mahogany Crotch veneers
#159
This is a companion piece to # 85. A Newport shell carving is incorporated into the apron. There is a hidden drawer in the crown, and the drawers are veneered with Mahogany crotch and bordered with a herringbone inlay.
